Created in 2001 for the exhibition Forest, Fire, Forge: Four BC Craft Masters, this piece, from the series entitled ...Like Clockwork, features patinated bronze and a pierced Sterling silver element reminiscent of ancient astrolabes and transits—tools used by the early explorers to chart their course to the New World.
