Born in Revelstoke, British Columbia, Trudy Ellen Golley RCA is an internationally exhibited, award-winning ceramic artist who completed her undergraduate training at the Alberta College of Art & Design and the University of Calgary (BFA), and her graduate studies at the University of Tasmania, Hobart, Australia (MFA). Inducted into the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts in 2002, Golley is currently the head of Ceramics and an instructor in the Visual Art Department at Red Deer College (www.rdc.ab.ca). :: current cv

Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Paul Wm. Leathers RCA is an internationally exhibited, award-winning studio metalsmith who completed his undergraduate training at Sheridan College's School of Crafts & Design (Dip.A.A.) and the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design (BFA), and his graduate studies at the University of Calgary (MFA). Inducted into the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts in 2006 and currently serving on the RCA's Governing Council, Leathers has headed metalsmithing departments in Manitoba and British Columbia and maintains his full-time studio practice in Red Deer, Alberta. :: current cv

Study Tour to China 2017

Trudy and Paul will chaperone a group to China in 2017. The itinerary will include the museums of Shanghai, a hands-on exploration of various porcelain techniques in residence at the PWS Education Centre, Jingdezhen, side trips to YaoLi and GaoLing mountain, and visits to local artists' studios.
