Created in 2019 and entitled Anamorphic Moth Vase, this piece features a cloud of 24Kt gold moth-shaped decals that, en masse, create a localised metallic surface. The layered light effect, and the intensification of colour, through a compounding of the reflections in the lustred surfaces, are seen as tools in an ongoing re-examination of both the function and the functionality of sculptural ceramic objects.
